The village is on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park with wild open spaces only thirty minutes away as well as the popular visitor attractions of Braemar and Balmoral, yet Pitlochry, St.Andrews, Perth and Dundee are within an hours drive.

LITTLE DOOCOT 1:
This has twin beds with adjoining bathroom The shower tray is at floor level making it suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. There is a fitted wardrobe with additional hanging space for coats and jackets in the hallway. The living room has a fully fitted kitchen with dining area and large corner settee. There is a flat screen TV and DVD player with a set top box giving access to all the Freeview Channels. Underfloor heating is fitted throughout and is controlled by room thermostats. There is also patio door access to your own decked patio with garden furniture and open views to the surrounding countryside.

LITTLE DOOCOT 2:
This is very similar to Little Doocot 1 but has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower. The livingroom has a fully fitted kitchen with dining area and large corner settee. There is a flat screen TV and DVD player with a Set top box giving access to all the Freeview Channels. A selection of DVD’s is available to borrow. There is patio door access to your own decked patio area complete with garden furniture and open views to the surrounding countryside.
THE LAUNDRY/UTILITY:
The laundry is fitted with a washing machine, tumble drier, Belfast sink and an old fashioned but very useful clothes pulley all for the sole use of the guests. There is also a small recycling unit for the use of guests. It also contains the rather scary looking heating boiler but it means that when it is on it is always warm and ideal for drying any damp walking or fishing gear. An outside washing line is also available.
Local Amenities
The local Hotel and Post Office/village shop is only five minutes walk away. Access to the Cateran Trail is on the doorstep with the choice of the walk to Kirkmichael and Glenshee or the route to Alyth or over the hill to Blairgowrie. The surrounding area is very good walking country with some great opportunities for bird watching, golf and fishing are also well catered for in the immediate area.
There are also some very good places to eat out within easy driving distance with The Pitlochry Festival Theatre being just one of them.
The small market town of Blairgowrie is only seven miles away and will cater for most shopping requirements.
