Ayr Gate House is an attractive old building, dating from circa 1800, decorated in a modern homely style.

There is a ramp and handrails leading into the house, which makes easy access for those in wheelchairs or for those requiring support. The house is fully double glazed with self-adjusting radiators in every room.

Why not visit our sister Guest house- Miller House.

Ayr Gate House (formerly Stronvar) sits on the main road heading from Prestwick into the town centre of Ayr.

There is easy access into the property from the side of the house (Falkland Road) and ample parking space in the grounds.

The house is furnished with a lift giving access from ground floor to the first floor - handy for taking golf bags or luggage upstairs, to save any unnecessary carrying or walking upstairs.

For those that are energetic they can use the staircase passing the beautiful stained glass window on the way to the first floor.
