Situated on a peaceful country lane just off the main Craignure to Tobermory road, Otter Holt is only a three minute stroll to the centre of Salen village. There are plenty of walks from the cottage, and the best otter & seal sightings are in Salen Bay!
High quality accommodation is provided for up to 4 guests, with a twin bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room. There are stunning views of the surrounding countryside, the Sound of Mull. and across the sea to the mountains of Ardnarmurchan.

The downstairs is light and airy with windows to 3 sides, and an open- plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen.
The kitchen is newly fitted, and has an electric oven, grill and 4 ringed hob, a microwave oven, large fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, caffetiere, george foreman grilling machine, all the necessary pots, pans, utensils, etc. and plenty of cupboard space.

Accommodation - Our self-catering cottage has a central Mull location and is perfectly situated on the outskirts of Salen village. The holiday accommodation has panoramic views of the sea, countryside, & mountains and is within a self-contained wing of the house with its own entrance, parking and garden areas for 2 to 4 guests, plus up to 2 well-behaved dogs. A five minute level stroll takes you to the village centre with its well-stocked village shop, Post Office, Mediteranean restaurant and a Hotel with public bar. The owners live next door and endeavour to make your vacation special by providing you with helpful local information if you so wish. Red deer frequent the garden, and otters and seals are seen daily in the bay, you may also see dolphins, porpoises, basking sharks, or minke whales! Birdwatchers are in their element here on Mull with continued sightings of the huge White Tailed Sea Eagle, and the Golden Eagle. It is a perfect island for geologists, photographers, artists, walkers, historians, and lovers of the beautiful things in life.
Available for rental all year round, why not come out of the main holiday season and experience Mull as the locals and those in the know do! Amazing Autumn - deer rutting, beautiful autumn colours, crisp dry clear days and panoramas to die for. Wonderful Winter - with no light pollution for fantastic stary skies, admire the mountains with snow on the tops, and hardly any other visitors. Superb Spring -beautiful flora and fauna, great early sunshine, abundance of birds including puffins. And of course its cheaper!
