Hawthornbank Guest House is a delightful Victorian villa built in 1873 by localbuilder William Menzies for one of his two sons.
It is pleasantly situated in a slightly elevated position close to Oban town centre(5 minutes walk), yet in a quiet residential setting. A wooded footpath leads fromthe front garden towards the town.
Extensive refurbishment and upgrading has been carried out whilst retaining, as faras possible, the period charm of the house which has been awarded the grade of 4 Star Guest House by the Scottish Tourist Board.
For your health and comfort, smoking is totally prohibited throughoutthe house and grounds. Bookings are therefore only accepted from non-smokers.
All bedrooms have en-suite facilities comprising toilet, washbasin (with shaver point)and temperature controlled shower (toiletries and soft pure cotton towels supplied).
