Four extremely spacious and comfortable apartments in a beautifully converted Georgian mansion. Carefully located in a sheltered position overlooking the Firth of Clyde, the house stands in large gardens which are occasionally visited by the local deer and other wildlife.
All our apartments are fully equipped and have a sea view across the Firth of Clyde to the Ayrshire coast. Garden furniture is provided for you to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Ardencraig House Apartments.
We are only one minute from Ardencraig Gardens. Here you will see during the summer months beautiful displays of flowers and plants. We are also only a 5 minute walk down to the beach and a 5 minute drive to Mount Stuart House.
The principal owners of Ardencraig House, David and Elaine Daniels,came to visit Bute for a day in 2003 and decided to stay permanently. You will understand why when you visit Bute, Scotland's Unexplored Isle.

A deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking. This is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. The remaining balance is due one month before arrival. In the event of cancellation the balance remains payable if the property is not re-let. We will endeavour to re-let the accommodation for you. We strongly advise guests to take out cancellation insurance.
The tariff includes all linen and towels. The electricity is payable by meter (£1 coins).
Check-in time on day of arrival is 4:00pm and we ask that guests vacate the apartments by 10:00am on day of departure. If you anticipate a later time of arrival will you please let us know your approximate arrival time to ensure that we are here to welcome you.
Please note that, regrettably, we do not allow smoking in our apartments. Pets by prior arrangement only.
