There is always plenty going on in the farm as we are very much a working farm with a herd of Ayrshire Cows milked twice a day. We also grow our own crop Silage harvested in May and August. When not enjoying the comfortable surroundings at Ormsary there are many other outdoor activities close by to enjoy like trout fishing on local lochs and rivers, hill walking around the Mull or horse riding locally near campbeltown.
For breathtaking scenery, why not take a walk to the Mull of Kintyre Lighthouse, made famous in Paul McCartney's song, and take along your binoculars, the ornithological enthusiast will not want to miss an opportunity.
For golf enthusiasts why not try our local 18 hole links golf course at Dunaverty or really spoil yourself and have a round or two at Machrihanish Championship Course.
There are also numerous unspoilt sandy beaches scattered around the friendly parish of Southend.
For the keen walkers amongst you the Local Kintyre way from Tarbert to Dunaverty passes by Ormsary Farm.
